Finding Support

While walking along the seawall,  I passed a woman who was carrying her baby in a pouch in  front of her body, and she had not only covered the infant’s head with a yellow piece of fabric, but she was also holding her babe’s head with one hand – very firmly place against that precious head. Lovingly. Supporting her.

Now, wouldn’t we all love to have a mother’s loving hand supporting our head? Our overly-full brain that is jammed with: all that info from our most recent webinar; all the ideas we now have to do; our own teleseminars; all the challenges we face; all the excitement of new plans we have; all the visions we have now for our future, both personally and professionally. Wouldn’t we love that support?

But often, we don’t have that. Besides, we’re grown up now (well, older), so we’ve become accustomed to lack of support. Well, almost. We know no one’s going to hold our head and coo and speak that sweet talk to us – well, at least I know this. Do you?

So, what to do? How do we find support?

There are lots of Meet-ups springing up in my city, Vancouver, so I can invest $5 and find people of like-minds. There are also great teleseminars and webinars on the net.

But what if there’s nothing out there that really interests me?

What I do is this: I go inside and ask my higher Self for support. Yes, I pray. And I also sit quietly and meditate daily – every day, without fail. This is where I find my support – by giving myself time to create the space for my soul. When I do, I feel like that tiny babe supported by her Mom.

So, no matter who or what seminars or friends are out there, it is within myself where I find peace, love and full support.

Try it. I know it works. There really is a Writer Within.

Then, write about it.

I’ve written more about this in Romance Your Writer Within and Reawaken Your Passion to Write – it’s here on my website, and on Amazon.com., and in my latest book on Peace (which is not quite published yet, but will be!) Enjoy the process of tuning in to your Writer Within, and watch as your words flow easily onto your pages.
